A quirky, close to nature way to explore the countryside, The Carriage has been crafted into a beautiful timber clad cabin, with a quality yet cosy feel.

Situated in the Peak District National Park, locations don’t come much better than this. The Carriage has superb views across the valley and lovely walks from the door.

The property is close to the Peak District’s wealth of attractions, including Chatsworth House, Dove Dale and Haddon Hall

A brisk riverside stroll will soon get you to the local pubs in Darley Bridge.

Matlock, with its county town facilities is a 5 minute drive. The Carriage provides a cosy and unique base to discover the area

The Carriage is a 1963 Railway Carriage which has be lovingly restored to a high standard. It comprises a living area, including kitchen, seating area and bed. There is a separate bathroom with shower. The bed is elevated and is accessed by a fixed ladder.

The Carriage also has underfloor heating so you will be lovely and warm during your stay. The kitchen has a combination microwave/oven, fridge/ freezer, kettle, toaster and induction hotplate. TV is streaming only.

Outside there is a lovely private patio with fire pit with amazing views across the valley. Portable barbecue allowed. WiFi is available throughout the property.

The Carriage is accessed through patio doors and it is all on one level, with the exception of the elevated bed. It is completely self-contained and has an allocated parking space in the main yard close by. The Carriage has a large private patio with table, chairs and fire pit to enjoy the rural setting
