About

Kerry and Wendy bought The Old Manor House in 1996. Having grown up in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, Wendy loved being back in the area and they both feel privileged to have been able to bring up their family here.

The Old Manor House dates back to the 16th Century and boasts many interesting and historic features, including a moat.

The hamlet of Snitterton sits in the  Peak District and just 1 mile from the town of Matlock, and is an ideal base to explore the Peak District and Derbyshire. Whether you want to walk, cycle, climb or take day trips to local places of interest, it’s all on your doorstep.

Kerry and Wendy live in The Old Manor House and so are onsite to make sure guest’s have the best stay and are provided with local advice and information as required.
